19-year-old Cameroon forward Faris Moumbagna has joint Norwegian top flight outfit KB Kristiansund on a three-year contract.
KB Kristiansund have kept tabs on the Cameroon international for a while now and finally succeeded to secure his services this Monday.
Faris Moumbagna was on loan at Bethlehem Steel in the US second tier from Northwest Regional Championship side Rainbow FC.
Moumbagna is a Cameroon youth international and is considered as one of the big names for the future for the Indomitable Lions.
“We are very pleased to have the signing of Faris Pemi Moumbagna today, subject to him being granted a work permit,” Keneth Laren, the club’s Sporting Director said in a statement on their official website.
“This has undoubtedly been the most demanding signing KBK have completed both because we had to wait a long time for a visa and because we shutdown in Norway a day after Faris had arrived.”
The Cameroon U-20 international also expressed his delight in joining the Norwegian top flight club.
“I am very happy to sigh with Kristiansund. It has been a long journey in many ways. Now I look forward to doing a lot of good together and winning matches. This is the best place to performe for me,” Moumbagna said.
The native of Yaoundé scored 14 goals in 38 appearances for the US second tier club in the 2018-2019 season.
