SCO Angers have reached an agreement for a one-year contract extension with their Algerian winger Farid El Melali.
The former JMG Algier winger joined SCO Angers on a five-year-deal in August 2018 after a successful stint at AC Paradou but injury restricted him to just 11 appearances this campaign.
Interestingly, his five goals in 11 appearances is enough evidence of his potentials surely justifying the decision to offer him an additional year to the deal that had to run out in the summer of 2023.
The club announced the decision on Monday, barely 24 hours before the 23rd birthday of the Blida native.
The Algerian international has won two caps for the Desert Foxes but is hyped by local media as the next big thing from the north African nation.
