15 times Champions of Cameroon, Cotonsport of Garoua have dissolved the team that was initially in charge of recruitment for the 2018/2019 Football season.The recruitment commission that was led by the liason officer and former head of the club’s training center, Ousmanou Christophe have been shown the exit door.
kick442.com gathered that the club had frown at the quality of recruitment by the 5 man commission before the start of this Champions league campaign.
A club release published on Tuesday by the Club’s marketing and communication Boss,Adamou Saliou read:
“Having noted that the recruitment made by the former recruitment commission did not produce the expected results, the President of the Executive Board took the following steps before the start of the Champions League”
Dissolution of the former recruitment commission led by the Liaison Officer and the former Head of the Training Center.
Establishment of a new commission coordinated by the President of the Executive Board,Fernand Sadou himself and which takes into account all the components of the club. It is:
The coaches: Ebwele Bertin, Tchitouang, Djibrilla Alain, Abouna Abderaman,
Board members: Souleymanou Hamidou, Maina Gilbert.
Members of the Executive Board:Djibrilla Mamadou, Nouhou Moussa, Sali Dairou and Adamou Saliou.
The new recruitment commission set up has already brought in 5 new players for future competitions.Viz;
Sibiri Sanou Arnaud (Burkina Faso),
Aboubakar Konate (Burkinabe)
Beadom Maounde (Chadian),
Deounda Masra Yannick (Chadian),
Thuente Thierry (Cameroonian),
Djondang Joel (Cameroonian).
Cotonsport is expected in the South West region this weekend as they start their title defence away from home as visitors of Newly promoted Avion Nkam.
Cotonsport go into the 2019 football season with a duty to defend their league title and enter the next CAF Champions campaign which begins in August.

Cameroon will have only two places in the next CAF competitions. Eding Sport FC is likely to represent the country in the Confederation cup except a cup of Cameroon final is played before August.
