Cameroon’s goalkeeper during the 2017 AFCON success Fabrice Ondoa of KV Ostende was involved in his side’s 3-1 win against rivals Cercle Brugge in a pre-season friendly this Saturday.
The keeper started the game as a substitute but was introduced in the start of the second segment with his side leading by goal to nil thanks to a goal from Kévin Vandendriessche.
Ondoa was introduced in the start of the second segment.
Barely four minute after his introduction, François Marquet doubled the lead for the host.
New signing Makhtar Gueye made it three-nil in the 58th minutes.
Congolese forward Guy Carel Mbenza Mbenza Kamboleke pulled one back in the 63rd minutes of the game.
The game stayed at 3-1 till full time.
The result means KV Ostende and Ondoa have won their first pre-season game, recovering from the disappointing 1-2 defeat earlier against Unión Saint Gallois.
