Super Eagles forward, Kelechi Iheanacho scored two goals to help his English Premier League side, Leicester City to a 3-1 win over Manchester United in the quarter-final of the English FA Cup on Sunday.
A catastrophic error led to Iheanacho’s opening goal for Leicester in the 24th minute.
The opponent gifted a chance to Kelechi Iheanacho who rolled the ball into the back of the net from close range.
Paul Pogba displayed great vision and send a pass to Mason Greenwood who showed brilliant composure inside the box to bury the ball into the back of the net in the 38th minute for Manchester United’s equaliser.
In the 52nd minute, Youri Tielemans weaved his way past opponents, and he unleashed a magnificent effort from the edge of the box into the bottom left corner to restore Leicester City’s lead.
Twelve minutes from full time, Marc Albrighton flights a free-kick into the box where Kelechi Iheanacho peeled off his marker and heads straight into the top of the net from the edge of the six-yard box to make it 3-1.
Iheanacho has scored seven goals in his last four games in all competitions for Leicester City this season.
Leicester City will play Southampton in the semi-final of the FA Cup after eliminating Manchester United.
The winner of the tie between Leicester City and Southampton will face the winner between Chelsea and Manchester City in the final.
