Former Uganda Champions Express FC unveiled a new signing in defender Farouk Katongole yesterday.
The Central high tower defender joined them on a two-year contract to boost their defense line.
Katongole joins Express FC from URA where he spent 3 solid seasons after his contract was terminated at end of last season.
Farouk Katongole brings a lot of physic, and experience in defense that has already seen the departure of Murushid Juuko to rivals Vipers SC.
Farouk Katongole in his first club interview expressed how he is happy to join one of the biggest and oldest clubs in the Nation and he will work hard to pay back the trust given to him by Coach James Odoch.
Farouk Katongole becomes the latest addition to join the Red Eagles after Derrick Ngobi.
Farouk has previously played for sides like Tooro United and Bright Stars in the Uganda Premier League.
Express are building a team that will be able to compete again having won the 2020/21 trophy in the Star times Uganda Premier League.
The Startimes Uganda Premier League is expected to start on 30th September with Fixtures expected to come out in the coming weeks.
