Cameroon’s midfielder Eyong Enoh Tarkang has joined Olympiacos Nicosia in Cyprus on a 1 year deal.The players entourage have told kick442.com that the deal was done on Wednesday in London and midfieder will be presented early next week.Enoh is a key acquisition for the management of Olympiakos following the club’s return to the top flight in Cyprus.
The former Ajax Amsterdam made his Eredivisie debut against Feyenoord in 2008 and played arguably his best football in Holland. Enoh scored his first UEFA Cup goal against Olympique Marseille while playing for Ajax Amsterdam. He played 98 matches for Ajax’s and scored thrice for the club.
The 33 year old Kumba boy is joining Olympiacos Nicosia from Enosis Neon Paralimni FC. A club competing in the Cypriot First Division, the top flight of football in Cyprus. In his 24 appearances for Enosis Neon Paralimni last season, Enoh scored once.
Enoh joins Olympiacos at the time they have been newly promoted to the Cypriot First Division.
He made his first appearance for Cameroon against Morocco during their 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign but he has now retired from the National team but keeps going at club level.
He has played of Standard Liège,Ajax Amsterdam, Antalyaspor, Fulham, Willem II and Ajax Cape Town.
Enoh Eyong has played 217 international and club appearances and scored 9 goals. He goes to Olympiacos Nicosia poised for proper action in due course.
