Former YOSA defender/midfielder Patrick Arnaud Ziepop has told kick442.com that celebrating his goal against former club by pulling off his shirt was a well planned action motivated by two main reasons.
The defender spent a season on the books of the Northwest outfit but left in the build-up to this season and scored the crucial second goal that gave Fovu 2-1 win over Doumbe Bosso’s boys to make it 3 games without a win for YOSA.
“I enjoyed my relationship with the supporters when I was in Bamenda. But I wish had more time on the field to show them how much was in love and wanted to help the club but playing just above 15 games in a 34 games season didn’t make me fully enjoy my time in Bamenda”
“I am equally convinced there are people at the club who know why I celebrated my goal with extra joy,it’s Football, sometimes the emotions take over you and that’s why I took off my shirt and said what I said,I apologise to the lovely fans of the club, but my mind has not changed about my situation with the club. I am still Angry because of an off the pitch reason”. I thank everyone related to the club and remain their brother” Ziepop told kick442.com
The defenders goal plus another from Rudolph gave Fovu a 2 nil advantage that was halfed by Toko Toko Eric late in the game but things stayed like that for Fovu’s second win in 6 games this season.
Ziepop a very experienced player in the Cameroon League have equally played for Bamboutos FC of Mbouda amongst other clubs.
