Cameroon league one side Yong Sports Academy, YOSA, will retain 15 players from the team which ended the 2018/2019 season. The information was disclosed by deputy coach Toguem Jean Baptiste Thursday August 8th 2019, as he took charge of the first training session of the team at the Big Mankon Field.

Speaking to the coach revealed that, this first phase of training that will last for one week is for players scouted in the Northwest and Southwest regions during their respective regional leagues. At the end of the one week training, 15 players will be recruited to join 15 others retained from last season’s squad.

At the close of last season, YOSA was marred with some internal wranglings which saw some players boycotting the Cup of Cameroon match against Coton Sports of Garoua.
The boycott saw just 11 players making the journey for the match.

It’s now clear that all the 11 players who made the trip to Yaounde will be retained. The 11 players are; Fuh Blaise, Fuh Essien, Elovis Tanwi, Petit Fils Djamen, Louis Dada Manjo, Ngong Neville, Ebongue Thierry, Abanke Eric, Fonyuy Gasper, Steve Manga and Chia Gareth.

But which other four players will join the 11? That’s the question begging for an answer.
We will now await the final list to see who joins them. Absent from the cup of Cameroon match against Cotonsport are Ashu Tambe, Randy Ntume Kwalar, Ningahar Otodjibaye, Gilbert Kilah, Fonou Cyril, Eric Toko Toko and captain Yves Alain Dooh Moukoko amongst others.
