Adamawa Queens forward, Regina Omede has vehemently dispelled transfer rumours linking her to a move away from Adamawa Queens. She confirmed this in an exclusive chat with 2019 Nigeria Sports Award Journalist of the Year (Print) nominee and correspondent Oyediji Oluwaseun Babatunde.
“It is just a mere speculation before leaving Lagos after the 2018-2019 Super 4.”

The Higher National Diploma (HND) student of Federal Polytechnic, Mubi, Adamawa state asserted that it will be stressful leaving for another club outside Adamawa state as it will affect her studies. She said that she can only consider any transfer request when she is through with her studies.
” I will ensure that I am through with my academic before considering any move. It is not that I don’t have offers to go out. I do have offers each season. I am schooling here and I don’t want to make wrong decision.”

Regina Omede is currently studying Business Administration at Federal Polytechnic, Mubi.
She debunked this transfer speculation after she was linked to a move from Adamawa Queens following her role in helping her club qualify for last season Super 4 tournament for the first time in the club history. The club went on to lose both their two (2) Super 4 games without scoring and conceding 6 goals.
Omede is hoping that she can help her side qualify for next season Super 4 and perform better than their last season feat.
