Cameroon Elite One side Aigle Royal de la Menoua have agreed a three-year deal with former PWD of Bamenda head coach David Pagou.
The experienced tactician who parted company with the Abakwa Boys last week after three great years is expected to recieve a sign on fee of worth Millions of FCFA to be paid in instalments. He has agreed an undisclosed but interesting salary plus ad ons proportionate to match performances.
Pagou replaces Alain Nseme who was substantive coach of the Menoua outfit until 48 hours ago when he announced his resignation.
Winner of the 2020 Cameroon Elite One title and the cup of Cameroon earlier this year with PWD, Pagou arrives with an interesting record.
Aigle returned are back in the top-flight for the first time since 2019 and had to battle with UMS, Stade Renard among other clubs that made advances at the 53-year-old ex-Renaissance of Ngoumou and Eding Sport trainer.
The outgone fitness coach of the intermediate Lions is expected to put pen to paper earlier next week before the official unveiling ceremony.

Aigle Royal plans to build a massive institution around Pagou. They are expected to announce a number of signings next week as part of the new project.
Aigle have been drawn in Pool A of the 2022/2023 championship alongside giants Eding Sport, Cotonsport, PWD, Colombe of Dja.
The West Region outfit will open their season against high-spending Colombe of Dja in the Weekend of October 15. It will get more interesting in matchday 4 and 5 when Aigle face Eding Sport and PWD respectively, both of which are Pagou’s former employers.
Noted for his tactical astuteness, the trainer has been charged with building a team that will compete on the domestic front within the next two years.
