Barely 3 games into the New Season, Renaissance of Ngoumou has become the first club in the 2018/2019 League 1 & 2 championships to make a change in their technical bench.
The club has this Wednesday told kick442.com they have parted company with Michel George Ndongo and he will be replaced by former Aigle Royal Coach,Anicet Stephane Koung for the rest of the season with objective to keep Renaissance in the second tier competition at the end of the season.
Renaissance played a virgin draw against Bamboutos on Tuesday in Yaounde.
Coach Koung returns to work in the Center Region where he once had a brief spell at Cosmos of Mbam and his first game will be against Racing of Bafoussam and it will be his first season after over a season away from the Cameroon League.
Coach Koung is one of the coaches who played a part in moulding Current KV Ostende Goalkeeper, Fabrice Ondoa and his arrival as replacement for Coach Ndongo will be a good boaster for Young Renaissance players like captain Armel Nguene.
