Cameroon Elite Two outfit Foncha Street FC of Bamenda are set to announce the arrival of a new head coach in charge of the first team in the days ahead.
In relation to that development, Jean Sébastien Bata Ntjam who stepped down from thd head coach deal in June is the club’s priority as board finalize a long-term deal.
He is set to replace coach Soh Simplice who separated with the Club on mutual consent last week.
kick442.com understands the former Eding Sport de la Lekie trainer knows exactly what Foncha Street is in search of as he was a part of Eding’s technical staff when they speedily moved from the third tier Championship to the top-flight and masterminded OFTA’s promotion to Elite One in 2021.
Foncha Street FC plans to hire the trainer on a three-year deal with the expectation of getting a competitive team for them.
Coach Bata is an experienced coach with stints abroad – the most recent being last year in Chad.
FSFC will be one of at least 16 Clubs in competition for places available for promotion to the top-flight Championship next season.
