Argentina media is reporting that football legend Diego Maradona has been picked up by Police officers in Buenos Aires after his ex girlfriend Rocio Oliva made a complain that against the 1986 FIFA World Cup Captain.
Maradona said to have been picked up while he was returning to his homeland from Mexico where he currently serve manager of Mexican side Dorados de Sinaloa. Reports say authorities took Maradona aside, detained him before issuing formal notice of the proceedings against him from his Ex.
The pair enjoyed a six-year relationship which came to an end in December 2018 and Rocio is now seeking an Economic Compensation of $ 5 Millions.
Oliva,a former footballer too has decided to launch a claim in the San Miguel Family Court for seeking for a compensation from the 58-year-old.
The pair and their defense team are expected in court on the June 13.
Maradona played in four World Cups, and scored an impressive 34 goals in 91 international appearances for Argentina.
