English Premier League trio West Ham United, Tottenham Hotspur and Everton will face first competition from French Ligue 1 side AS Saint Etienne in the race for the signature of 28-year-old Cameroonian forward Jean-Pierre Nsamé.
The lethal Cameroonian striker is having his best season ever.
The former FC Servette forward has scored in his last 7 games and leads the scorers chat in the Swiss Super League Championship with 30 goals in 30 appearances plus 6 additional goals scored in other competitions.
Kick442.com understands West Ham United tried establishing contacts with the forward’s entourage during the last January transfer window, and will be back for the player this summer, like Everton and Tottenham.
Saint-Etienne on their part have made public their desire to recruit another striker and even made enquiries about Vincent Aboubakar among others. They now have their eyes fixed on Jean-Pierre Nsamé.
Nsamé only moved to Young Boys Berne two years ago from FC Servette, on a five-year-deal.
He has grown into a veritable source of goals for coach Gerardo Seoane, scoring with ease.
In all, Nsamé who is rated at €5 Million according to Transfermarkt has scored 67 goals, providing 15 assists in 126 games for the Swiss Super League Champions
The erstwhile SCO Angers goal poacher is an excellent and affordable option for any suitor, though it is as difficult to see him stay at the Stadion Wankdorf beyond this season as it is going to lure him away.
The Douala-native will complete his season in a week time and enter a possibly very busy holiday period with multiple speculations about his future.
