Indomitable Lions of Cameroon and Young Boys Bern forward Jean-Pierre Nsame has helped his side to a one-nil win in this Thursday’s UEFA Europa League match-day four encounter away at CSKA Sofia.
This Thursday’s UEFA Europa League encounter turned out to be another Nsame show.
The Cameroon International lead the lines partnering with Moumie Ngamaleu upfront.
The lethal finisher returned to the scoresheet putting his side ahead 34th minutes into the tough night at the Vasil Levski National Stadium in Bulgaria.
The goal multiplied the Swiss champions confidence and gave coach Gerrardo Soane’s team the responsibility to organize at the back and walk away with all points on offer.
Both sides failed to get another goal till the end of the first segment.
After the break both sides made multiple changes including the replacement of Moumie Ngamaleu in the 87th minute but the scoreline remained unchanged.
Guinean sweeper Mohamed Ali Camara and his mates defended perfectly across 90 minutes and walked away with all three points.
The win is the first on the road for the men from Bern in the competition as an away side since 2014 and the first in 15 attempts.
Young Boys Bern are tied at the top with seven points as AS Roma who face Cluj later tonight.
Nsame and his mates face Roma in the group decider on December 3, but before that they confront FC Lausanne on the road this weekend.
