Super substitute Aniekpeno Udoh came off the bench to score for KuPS with almost the last kick of the game on the stroke of 120 minutes to take his side’s to the UEFA Europa League second qualifying fixture to a penalty shoot out on Thursday, www.kick442.com reports.
The former Akwa United player replaced Lucas Rangel Nunes Gonçalves in the 87th minute as both sides played out a goalless draw after 90 minutes at the Savon Sanomat Areena, Kuopio.
In extra time, Zan Medvedev thought he had scored the winning goal for Slovan Bratislava in the 111th minute, but Aniekpeno Udoh replied with an equalising goal in the 120th minute.
Udoh also converted his penalty kick during the shoot out as KuPS secured a shocking 4-3 win over Rabiu Ibrahim’s Club which ensured that the Finnish side advances to the next stage of the UEFA Europa League.
