Cameroon International and Young Boys Bern forward, Jean-Pierre Nsame was on target in Young Boys Bern’s Europa Conference League game against KuPS, scoring a brace to contribute to his side’s 3-0 win in the Third Qualifying round second leg on August 11.
This victory books their place in the Europa Conference League play-offs first leg on August 18 against Anderlecht.
But before that, the boys of Coach Raphael Wicky will have to face Servette on Saturday.
The 29-year-old scored early at the 3rd minute and equally closed scores in this encounter at the 57th minute to help his side record a 5-0 aggregate score.
Vincent Sierra netted the second goal at the 35th minute, separating both parties 2-0 in the first half.
Nsame, has scored in over three consecutive matches and this takes his tally to over 10 goals scored for Young Boys in all competition this 2021/22 football season.
This victory comes after last week’s 2-0 win over KuPS at Veritas Stadium in Finland, where Nsame and teammates were the visitors.
With BSC Young Boys, he won the Swiss championship four times from 2018 to 2021 as well as the Swiss Cup in 2020.
Young Boys Bern have won 15 Swiss league championship and Six Swiss Cup.
Jean-Pierre Nsame earned his first cap for the Cameroon Senior Men National Team when he featured and started their match against Nigeria on 4 September 2017 in a qualifying match for the 2018 World Cup.
He and teammates are hoping they can get something out of the Europa Conference League this year after finishing as runner up in Swiss Super League,a 2021/22 season without any trophy.
