Indomitable Lions of Cameroon and Beerschoft forward Marius Noubissi was amongst the scorers in his side’s 1-3 defeat to Eupen in match-day 22 of the Belgian Jupiler Pro League on Wednesday evening.
The quick fire encounter had the best possible start for the visitors as Marius Noubissi scored within two minutes of kick off to give his side a one-nil lead.
Smail Prevljak leveled scores for FC Eupen in the 10th minute of the game.
Five minutes before the break, Ivorian midfielder Konan Ignace Jocelyn N’Dri made it 2-1 for Eupen.
The host took the narrow advantage to the break.
Menno Koch scored the third for Eupen in the 54th minute off an assist from Andriano quenching Beerschot’s hopes of a comeback.
The visitors were reduced to ten in the 71st minute following the sending off of Loris Brogno.
Marius Noubissi was replaced in the 83rd minute of the game as his side opted for fresh legs to limit the damage.
The game ended on a 1-3 defeat for Beerschot
Noubissi marked his return to the team with his fourth goal of the season. He has also assist three goals in 15 appearances in the league this term.
