Etta Thomas Bawak of Sudanese Premier League giant Al Merreikh will have the luxury of a Brazilian trainer when the new season gets underway.
The club has named 43-year old Leonardo Neiva as their new lead trainer on a two-year duration.
The club took to Twitter to confirm the development while announcing the trainer will face the media in a presser in Doha.
Neiva replaces French tactician Didier Gomes Da Rosa who guided the club to the group stages of the CAF Champions League in November before leaving for Mauritania to take over the job of the lead trainer of their national selection.
Coach Neiva alongside Cameroonian defender Etta Bawak Thomas and other players of the club are in Doha for preparations for the rest of the season.
Bawak also joined the 21 times Sudanese Champions and 15 times winners of the domestic cup last month on a two-year deal from Cotonsport of Garoua.
