The president of the Cameroon Football Federation and former Cameroon international Samuel Eto’o Fils, will face legal actions for allegedly ignoring a court ruling.
The former FC Barcelona forward has never acknowledged that he is the father of Erika Do Rosario Nieves. But now Erika’s mother has confirmed that she intends to launch legal action after the former footballer allegedly ignored the court ruling to make payments to the family.
According to www.mirror.co.uk, Erika’s mother Adileusa ‘Dee Dee’ do Rosario, who originates from the Cape Verde Islands, has explained that the retired footballer has never given anything to her daughter, despite a court ruling in February that Eto’o must pay an allowance to the young woman totalling €1,400 per month and dated back to the moment that the lawsuit was filed.
In an interview with La Vanguardia, Adileusa stated that Eto’o has not yet given them any money and she intends to file another lawsuit.
“It’s all for my daughter, to whom he has never given anything. He has not given the girl anything since the day she was born. Absolutely nothing, not even with a judicial decision. She has grown up without her father and she feels so sorry because he hasn’t even given her the chance to meet him.”, Adileusa said in an interview gotten via www.mirror.co.uk.

The Lawsuit began in 2018, when Adileusa provided biological evidence to support her claim that Eto’o was the father of her daughter Erika.
It is reported that Adileusa and Eto’o met in a nightclub in Madrid, Spain, in 1997. In her lawsuit back in 2018, Erika’s mother claimed Eto’o told her that “he would act responsibly with respect to the common child, although he preferred that she did not give birth to the child,” and went further to broke off all communication with her.
“Samuel broke up with me as soon as I told him. Even so, I showed up at a training session where I knew he was so that he could meet her. She was 15 days old. He took me aside and he promised me that he would take care of her. But I never heard from him again,” she added.
Erika is now 22-years of age and lives in Madrid. Should Eto’o fails to act as per the court ruling, he will likely be facing legal actions anytime soon, as per the words of Adileusa.
