Cameroon sensation Etienne Pineda Eto’o, 17 has left Real Mallorca Under 17 to join Spanish second tier side, CD Athletico Baleares on a six months deal.
The young forward/midfielder has left his boyhood club and will continue his chase for his football dreams at Athletico.
Etienne, son of World football legend Samuel Eto’o has been allocated the shirt number 18 at his new club.
Etienne was recently missed out on participating in the Under-17 FIFA World Cup because of a presidential degree restricting use of foreign based players of this age group Cameroon,but has pledged his football allegiance to Cameroon.
CD Athletico Baleares currently top their group in the second division championship with 39 points from 17 games this season.
They travel to Marino de Luanco in match-day 19 this Sunday.
Etienne leaves Mallorca as their lead scorer, he is expected to do same in his number 9 role for CD Athletico Baleares.
