Ernest Mabouka extends contract at Maccabi Haifa

2017 AFCON winner, Ernest Mabouka Masoussi, has signed a one-year contract extension with Israeli side Maccabi Haifa on Monday, June 29, 2020, can report.

The former Astres of Douala defender moved to the Club three years ago from MSK Zilina.

The 32-year-old has had an enjoyable three years stint at the Club which was scheduled to end on June, 30, 2020.
His great displays in the Club’s colours has earned him an additional year at Maccabi.

This term, Mabouka has featured in 36 games, scored once and provided five assists for the Club.

Since arriving the Club, he has featured in 100 games, assisted 15 goals and scored once.

Mabouka has not played for Cameroon, since, after the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup.
He won 9 caps and, an AFCON title during his brief stint with the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon between 2017 and 2018.
