Legendary Cameroon outfit Cotonsport of Garoua have included 16-year potential Under-17 Lions of Cameroon center-half Eric Moursou in their CAF Confederation cup squad traveling to Niamey for the third round playoffs game against AS Sonidep.
Coach Souleyman Aboubakar named an 18-man squad for the first leg encounter on Monday after the Club’s regular training session and Eric Moursou was the surprised inclusion.
Born on 31st December, 2004 and an Academician of Cotonsport’s feeder team for the past ten years, Eric Moursou has seen his time around the first team increase this season as he regularly practice with the rest of the squad.
It is the first time Moursou gets into the squad this season. He fills the void left by Under-20 Lions of Cameroon defender Goni Ali who is away in Morocco with the national team.
Moursou joins Banga Solomon, Ngombe Etame, Herve Ngomo as options for the February 14 clash in Niamey and is the youngest member if the Cotonsport squad making the trip for the game.
