Betrand Mani Junior scored his second hat-trick to lead Colombe to victory over Fortuna
Bin Adolf Nkembe Enow scores his second hat-trick of the unfogettable season
Bin Adolf Nkembe Enow of AS Fortuna and Colombe Betrand Mani Junior put on a vintage show this Wednesday, each netting three times as Colombe came from behind to beat AS Fortuna by 5-3.
Colombe’s rout began early when Alex Jakaï scored the opener after just 21 minutes.
Nkembe Enow in his usual ruthless self in front of goal during this debut season at Fortuna leveled five minutes later, ending a great team work.
It quickly became 2-1 for the visitors Fortuna in the 29th minute when Enow again beat Nfor to record his with his 14th goal of the season.
Fortuna settled into the game but were caught napping five minutes before the break, amounting to an equalizer through an own goal.
Both sides retired for the first-half break on a parity score but there was more to come.
Mani Betrand started Colombe’s come back just after the break when he fired pass the Fortuna last line to make it 3-2.
The goal took Mani’s goal tally to 13 goals while Enow had 15 but both men were not done for the day.
Nkembe Enow completed his hat-trick in the 56th minute. It was his second this campaign and his 16th goal overall.
Bertrand Mani then scored in the 68th and there was still time for him to complete his triple, finishing with six minutes to go to earn a 5-3 victory for Colombe.
Elsewhere Joseph Apam Vianney scored twice as Apejes bowed to strughling Panthere in a five-goal contest which helped his tally hit 14 goals.
At the end of Matchday 24, Nkembe Enow lead the race for the golden boot with 15 goals while Mani counts 14 as Apam.
Junior Kunior of Fauve Azur failed to score in this round of matches but remain in the race with his 11 goals with one game left just like Wassou Goue of Cotonsport who patiently waits for the playoff.
