In-form Ceiba FC defender Enow Benji Anjah has been marked his 19 appearance in the Equatorial Guinea top flight championship with his 4th goal of the current season this Wednesday.
The exceptional 17 year old left back opened scores for Ceiba FC from the penalty spot before his team mate Ludovic made it 2 nil for Ceiba FC as the team looked to be heading towards another 3 points at half-time.
Unfortunately for Enow and mates two second half goals from the Panthere camp made the two clubs share the spoils.
The goal from Benji was his second in 3 days following another against Sony Elanguema FC over the weekend.
The defender has made 18 starts this term,he has featured in 19 games in total this season. The in-form left back remains one of the most reliable and influential component of the Ceiba FC team this season despite his inexperience in the Equato Guinéan championship.
Benji have missed 3 games this campaign due to an injury.
Benji joined Ceiba FC in the build up to this season from Cameroon amateur side Dynamic FC but his progress have attracted praises from within and without Equatorial Guinea.
Coach Njoku Barnabas, now head coach of Feutcheu FC told kick442.com earlier this season that he wasn’t surprised with how quick the defender adapted to the Guinéan championship given that Benji is very hard-working. Coach Njoku worked with Benji as a kid at Buea United were the player got his first license in football.
The defender in his debut campaign is already doing very well and has emerged as one of the leaders in the Ceiba FC team trusted with the duty of taking penalties for the club at the age of 17.
