Nigerian entourage of Emem Eduok (Hajduk Split), Kingsley Michael (Cremonese), Simy Nwankwo (Crotone), and Joel Obi (Chievo Verona) all featured for their various club sides in Europe on Friday.

Hajduk Split 2-1 Slaven Belupo

Eduok scored a 59th-minute header for Hajduk Split who battled to a narrow victory. Caktas had scored the first goal of the match for Hajduk Split in the 10th minute. Medjimorec equalized for Slaven Belupo in the 24th minute as the match ended in 1-1 draw at half time.
Emem Eduok started the match for Hajduk Split before he was replaced by Jakolis in the 83rd minute after scoring the winning goal of the match for his side.
It was a narrow escape for Hajduk Split as their opponent, Slaven Belupo missed a 90th-minute penalty via Mateus.
At the end of the tunnel was a slim and hard-fought victory for Emem Eduok and Hajduk Split.

Kingsley Michael was a second-half substitute in Cremonese’s 0-2 Serie B defeat. He played for 30 minutes.
