Former winger of FC Sydney of Australia Elvis Kamsoba has signed a contract with Sepahan Club from Iran.
Iranian media reported today that Elvis Kamsoba, a 26-year-old Burundian-Australian winger, has signed a two-year contract with Iran’s Sepahan club from Isfahan city.
The CEO and board members of the Iranian club requested Jose Morais, the Portuguese head coach of the team, to hire Kamsoba. They held talks with this player last week.
The Sepahan team traveled to Turkey to set up a training camp. It is reported Kamsoba appeared in this camp and did the club’s medical tests. He also conducted final negotiations to reach an agreement.
The striker played in FC Sydney last season and even featured on this team during the Asian Champions League.
He has also played in Avondale FC and Melbourne Victory.
He was born on June 27, 1996 in Nyanza Lake, Burundi, and in 2019, made four appearances for the Burundi national team.
