Stade Renard of Melong all-time lead scorer in the top-flight Tamo Giresse Tinwo was on target on Saturday in Match-day six of the 2020-2021 Cameroon Elite One championship.
The striker struck once, adding to goals from Mohamed and Jules Armand Kooh as Stade Renard of Melong FC dispatched Eding Sport de la Lekie.
The home side went into the encounter at the Melong Municipal Stadium in full confidence havin won their last game in match-day five.
Both sides wasted a number of chances and failed to hit top gear in the first segment but the second-half had it all.
The host were made to be patient as a struggling Eding Sport came to the Melong municipal Stadium with clear plans of frustrating the boys of coach Gabriel Zabo.
Mohamed put the host ahead in the 66th minute of the game, before Tamo Giresse converted a penalty six minutes later and substitute Jules Armand Kooh capped it with an 87th minute goal.
Tamo who scored a brace in the last game counts three goals in five games this season.
The game ended on the 3-0 score for Stade Renard, sending the few fans who witnessed the win in total frenzy.
Renard with 10 points from six games occupies the third spot on the log ahead of their match-day seven trip to bottom-placed YAFOOT FC, who led and lost to Dragon in match-day six.
