Yong Sports Academy of Bamenda have played a goalless draw (0#0) against APEJES Academy of Mfou in a day five game at Yong Francis Arena in Bamenda.
It was an unfortunate game for the Academicians who struggled to pick up more points in the race.
Several saves from the defense line of YOSA earned them a point in a 0#0 battle.

First Half
At kickoff it proved to be a difficult game for host Yong Sports Academy of Bamenda who launched the game. Apejes mounted much pressure, winning several free-kicks in under eight minutes of the game.
Four minutes a beautiful save from Kelvin Ashu of YOSA from a free-kick by Apejes which almost gave them the lead.
Eight minutes later, YOSA regained control, stepped more often than expected into Apejes’ danger zone. Good plays from Ade Mienolf, Ndeh Nsoh Fabrice seeking for a goal no results.
YOSA with first corner kick 20 minutes, taken by Ngong Neville, sents a long one upfront, heads went high, referee’s whistle indicates a foul.

YOSA reviving from dominance, a long one sent upfront by Kayak Yannick locating Bahaza Goah who positioned the ball into Apejes’ danger zone Jean Claude Laimo with a header but off the post it went.
The yellow submarines created more scoring chances but goals were very difficult to come by.

Second Half
Academicians not willing to let go points at home started of forefront. Ndeh Nsoh Fabric hammered a targeted kick, goal keeper Dande Junior used his bravery to rescue his team.
Two minutes Yakah Yannick awarded a yellow card.
A frightful free-kick from Apejes by Djoko Leonel causing tension was stopped by Ashu Kelvin which brought calm to the yellow submarines.
Coach Nkabyo Martin going in for more attacking position substituted Kayak Yannick for Yuh Moses.
It became more difficult as minutes died on. YOSA recuperated play one-two touches between Ngong Neville and Agbor Emmanuel, a low shot from Agbor bypassed Goalkeeper Dande but the referee’s whistle indicated an offside position.
Stumbling on the toes of one another, goals became very difficult to come by.
