The Cameroon Elite One Championship organized by the Cameroon football federation will kick off on Tuesday, November 10.
This is according to a recent release from the Secretary General of the Cameroon football federation, Benjamin Didier Banlock.
“FECAFOOT is pleased to inform the public, football players and the media that the first day of the Elite One Professional Championship is scheduled for Tuesday 10 November 2020,” a release from the Secretary General of the Cameroon football federation read.
The 20-Clubs Cameroon Elite Championship has had its own problems but FECAFOOT has opted to take responsibility and organize a befitting championship for all.
This comes barely hours FECAFOOT decided to reinstate New Stars of Douala to the top-flight Championship.
Last season, a transitional technical committee set up by FECAFOOT organized a befitting championship which ended prematurely following the outbreak of the CoronaVirus pandemic in March this year.
