Charlemagne Mbongo has been spotted on the byline of Avion Academy just few minutes before the early match day 22 encounter against USD in the Limbe Centenary Stadium.

The hunch has finally been confirmed as the former UMS gaffer has been present in the games of Avion Academy in the last two match days.

Charlemagne Mbongo has made the headlines already this season, perhaps for all the wrong reasons as he was hired, fired, hired and later fired again all in just over two months with defending champions UMS of Loum.

Coach Charlemagne Mbongo replaces David Ngambe who started the campaign well but his team later dropped their feet off the gas pedal and are astonishingly craving for points to avoid the drop.

Avion’s new gaffer brings in bags of experience having previously managed Astres FC, Bamboutos and Colombe of Dja in his illustrious career.

The tactician is expected to hit the ground running with a victory against Union this afternoon. Avion is currently 15 on the log with 25 points, a win could sky rocket Avion as far as the 7th spot, depending on other results this afternoon.
