Former Hearts of Oak and Ebusua Dwarfs goal poacher, Ekow Ghansah has revealed he is not in good terms with the former gaffer of Ebusua Dwarfs, Esibu.
According to him, Coach Esibu, then the assistant coach of Dwarfs disliked him and tried to destroy his career.
In his interview with a Cape Coast based Kingdom FM, Ghansah took a swipe at his former manager describing him as a ‘wicked man’ which he was made to retract.
“When they came to Dwarfs, we had qualified from the middle league to the Premier league.
He was an assistant to coach Rashid. I was always playing upfront with Emmanuel Osei Kuffour before they came but they decided to bench me in almost all our games.
“One day, before our game against Kotoko, I went and knocked at his window and said if he does not field me in that game something will happen.
“So few minutes to the game, we gathered and he asked for a Bible and the verse he quoted was ‘if you humble yourself, God will lift you up’. I wanted to go and attack him but one of my teammates (Richard Ackon) stopped me. Since then, I have not been in good terms with him. though I requested for his contact and called him few years ago, I am still not in good terms with him.” Ekow Ghansah
Ekow Ghansah who is currently managing his football Academy had a stint with Hasaacas, Dwarfs and Accra Hearts of Oak before his retirement.
