The Confederation of African Football has on Sunday reversed their decision to dismiss Egyptian club, Ismaily SC from the ongoing CAF champions league competition League competition following an appeal from the club on the 24th of January 2019.

This comes after the body’s Appeal board had employed Chapter XI article 3, Chapter XI article 13, Chapter XI article 18 to dump the club out of the CAF Champions League after scenes of violence stopped Ismaily’s last game in Egypt pitting Ismaily SC to Club Africain.

The January 23rd decision to eliminate Ismaily SC from the competition has been reversed citing failure to establish evidence or consequences of the agression on the match officials.
