The Egyptian Football Association [EFA] has announced a two weeks suspension in all divisions of domestic football as a measure to contain the outbreak of the Coronavirus.

“The decision applies to all divisions of local competitions.”
This decision came a few hours after the country’s sports ministry said there was no need to suspend sports activities for the time being.

They have also raised alert levels in hospitals, land ports and airports and suspended flights to all countries where major outbreaks of the virus have been reported.
