Match day 25 in the Yong sports academy arena seemed easy but difficult as fans of the Abakwa Boys that earlier anticipated a landslide victory left in total disappointment.
The boys of David Pagou were determined from the start of the game which gave them the three nil lead within 30 minutes.
Pagou’s boys proved their superiority and determination to head to the top but Eding sports made the road difficult.
Nchindo John Bosco and Lukong Ahudu made it two nil for the host after just 14 minutes of play.
Leon Boyomo added a third with 30 minutes played taking his season tally to 11 goals.
Eding sports that came in dismay showed signs of inferiority but bounced back when Ngono Richard scored Eding first goal. This was just a sign that the Abakwa Boys are not always fortunate on home soil. Five minutes to the end of the first half the second goal came in from Herve Steve.
The second half began with another goal still from Herve Steve which equalized the defeat that was coming from Pagou’s boys.
Fans of PWD couldn’t avoid pointing fingers at the goal keeper as Shininsa Didemus carried the blame of the day. Much work has to be done in the goal post for PWD.
PWD is currently 2nd with 41 points while Eding sports is ranked 14th with 25 points.
