Ivorian midfielder Eboue Kouassi has joint Genk on loan from Celtic of Glasgow till the end of the season, with Genk having the option to make the move permanent.
Kouassi joint Celtic in 2017 from Russian side Rubin Krasnodar for a reported fee of £2.8 million.
He has since then made only 22 appearances for the Scottish giants.
His last game for Celtic was 15 months ago in the Scottish League Cup semi-final, in which he suffered a knee ligament injury, though Celtic convincingly beat Hearts 3-0.
In that same game against Hearts, Kouassi had his genitals grabbed by Hearts striker Steven MacLaren.
Neil Lennon’s team are close to replacing Eboue Kouassi with his compatriot Ismaila Soro who has already passed a medical, but awaits a work permit and an international clearance.
