Dreamstar Ladies President, Abdulrahman Abolore has said his team is determined to end the 2020/2021 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership Season on a high.
The ‘Galaticas’ will face Confluence Queens in the last game of the rounds, before going on to battle for survival in the relegation playoffs.
Confluence Queens needs an outright win to qualify for the Super 6, but victory over the ‘New Direction’s Ladies’ is all the Lagos-based side are thinking of.
“We do not care about the permutations going around. All we care and talk about is giving our fans victory in tomorrow’s game. The players are determined and want to end the season on a high,” He noted.
“We have a good team and can spring out positive results at home whenever we are on. The players have been talking about this game and we are pushing for an outright victory because that is all we dream of.
“We have no doubts at all, we know we can win and boost our confidence ahead of the relegation playoffs.” He concluded.
Dreamstar Ladies will battle Confluence Queens at the Legacy Pitch, Surulere on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, in their last game of the season.
In a related development, versatile midfielder, Kalu Favour has been voted DreamStar Ladies’ “Player of The Month” for March.
Kalu, who wrecked Rivers Angels with her world-class goal in week 9 override other contenders to claim the prestigious club award.
Owoseni Bukola’s goal against Bayelsa Queens won her the best Goal Award for the month.
