14-year-old midfielder, Obasi Precious has been voted DreamStar Ladies’ “Player of The Month” for the month of February.
Obasi, who has featured in all games for the “Pride of Lagos” piped Anuoluwapo Salisu and Adeshina Tumininu to the award.
Dreamstar FC Ladies played three games in February, losing all games without scoring a goal.
On February 10, they lost 1-0 to Osun Babes in Osogbo via a goal from Yetunde Fajobi.
Chinwendu Ufomba’s goal in the 22nd minute ensured that Pelican Stars defeated DreamStar FC Ladies 0-1 in Lagos on February 17.
Last week, Royal Queens FC also defeated DreamStar FC Ladies 2-0 in Warri.
The Galacticas will play FC Robo Queens at Legacy Pitch, National Stadium, Lagos, in their next game which is a much anticipated Lagos derby as they try to beat the drop zone on the league table.
