The president of FECAFOOT Southwest Dr. Ndive Thomas Molongu is currently in Zambia with Cameroon’s remaining representative in the CAF interclub competitions- Cotonsport of Garoua.
The 28-man delegation which left Cameroon just over 24 hours ago is led by the experienced football administrator whose success in the game cannot be overemphasized.
The president of Victoria United FC for ten years before becoming president of FECAFOOT guided the famous Club to the 2017 Cup of Cameroon semi-final.
He left the role in 2018 in the build up to the FECAFOOT regional elections which he eventually won.
He has been in charge of football in the Southwest region of Cameroon in the past two years working tirelessly to change the game.
Last month oversaw the successful organization of the CAF Champions game pitting PWD of Bamenda against Kaizer Chiefs Limbe which highlights his knowledge about these type of events.
Cotonsport of Garoua will face Green Eagles at the Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka on Wednesday, December 23 in the first leg of the 2020-2021 CAF Confederation cup second preliminary round game.
The Dr Ndive led delegation of 28 has 18 footballers, four technical staff plus four administrative staff of Cotonsport of Garoua amongst others.
The return game comes up on January 5 in Garoua.
