kick442.com has chanced upon a release by Manhyia Palace concerning the unpleasant issues in Asante Kotoko which depicts reports in local media that Dr. Kwame Kyei who is the CEO of Asante Kotoko has been sacked.
In the letter, it was indicated that the three year report from the current management is under evaluation. This means that, the decision to maintain or sack the current CEO shall be determined after the evaluation.
The release also indicated that, a committee has been set to investigate issues concerning the debt of $180,000 to Esperance football club and why the club could not meet the regulatory requirements of the Premier League Licensing Board.
However, reports monitored by reporter Benjamin Ankomah-Appiah on various online portals indicate that Dr. Kwame Kyei has been sacked contrary to what the release insinuates.
Pursuance to the release, the CEO is still at post till further decision from the highest decision body of the club, Manhyia Palace
