West Ham’s DR Congo left back Arthur Masuaku has signed a contract extension with the London club till 2024.
Masuaku moved to West Ham in 2016 from Greek giants Olympiakos for a four year deal worth 6.2million £.
The defender has since then made 75 appearances for the Hammers who have decided to give him an additional four years beyond the expiry date of his previous contract next year.
He was part of the DR Congo’s AFCON 2019 team that won one of their four games and was eliminated at the round of 16 of the competition in Egypt.
He expressed his satisfaction and gratitude after the contract extension.
“It was an easy decision and I am looking forward for the new season and giving my all for this club,” the 25 year old defender said.
The contract extension includes an the possibility for the deal to be extended for a further two year.
