27-year-old former YOSA of Bamenda defender, Yves Alain Dooh Moukoko has denied to accept the DR Congo versus Cameroon pre-tournament friendly this Sunday in Brazzaville is a friendly game.
The Eding Sport de la Lekie Center half and potential Intermediate Lions started the mind games this Saturday at the Lion base in Brazzaville.
“We are here for a positive result, so we are not taking anything for granted. It is not a friendly, this is very important match, we have to give our best to ensure we get the results”.
It is the defender’s first taste of life under intermediate Lions boss, Yves Clement Arroga but his words are quite inspiring for the rest of the group as competition for places continues to grow in the build up to the 2020 tournament on home soil in April.
“We have to go beyond our limits to get good result here. It is important because a good result here, prepares the next stage of our preparation for the African Nations Championship”
Dooh is hopeful of making the cut for the 16 nations tournament on home soil with coach Yves Clement Arroga spoiled with options including Banga Bienvenu, Djob Lidjoh, Ngede Ngede Junior amongst others.
