Ambroise Oyongo Bitolo becomes FC Krasnodar latest recruit. The 2017 AFCON champion has joined the Russian club from HSC Montpellier France on loan with option to buy. Oyongo joined the French outfit from Montréal Impact (MLS) on a free since 2018 and played an intergral role for Michel Der Zakarian team. Since January 9th 2021, Oyongo has fallen down the pecking order.
Club president Laurent Nicollin, confirmed on Monday evening that Oyongo needs game time and the loan move is expected to bring him up to speed.
This doesn’t look good for the left back who intends cementing his place in the Build-up to AFCON 2022 which Cameroon will participate on home soil.
Oyongo’s contract with MHSC runs till the summer of 2022.
