The player signed a deal to keep him at Cape Town till the summer of 2026 and has been unveiled though kick442.com is still tracking details about his jersey number.
Noted for his creativity in the midfield, Ambina was courted by a number but clubs on the continent and beyond, but he has settled for City.
A key part of the Under-20 Lions of Cameroon team that reached the quarter-final of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Mauritania, Ambina is highly-rated back at home.
The player’s switch to City provides his first club football opportunity abroad and hooks him up with a number of Cameroonians plying their trade in South Africa.
