Born on march 29, 2003 in Bafoussam, Djukop Merveille Grace is poised making an influential name in Cameroon Handball.
At 16, the native of Batoufam from the west region is considered the driving force of her present team Nana Handball team of Bafoussam.
Many Handball amateurs have described her left hand that is often used to Pierce solid defenses as “the hand of “victory”. This appellation is deduced from her ballsy character always displayed in matches, whatever the stakes.
She has the ability to manoeuvre the ball in crucial confrontations and find the back of the net. These distinctives make her teammates rely on her often to change their story.
Djukop joined Nana Handball team five years ago, after completing elementary education .
Though still a student of 3ème at GBHS Bafoussam, the teenager can be proud of taking part in renowned Handball tournaments organised in the country lately.
She played the semi finals of the cup of Cameroon in women’s handball with the outfit in 2017.
The National games dubbed Dixiades and school competitions like Fenasco A and B also consitutes her rich curriculum vitae.
In any of the tournaments she has participated, she has backed home at least a medal for individual prowess or emerge champion with her selection.
The last of a family of nine children is aiming to go international, though many teams within the country are progressively scrambling for her service.
Djukop Merveille Grace also hopes defending the national colors in future.
