Arta/Solar 7 continue their quest for a domestic league with a hard-fought 3-2 win over SID yesterday.
Alex Song opened the scoring in the 22nd minute from the penalty spot after Samuel Akinbinu was fouled in the 18 yard box but SID equalized five minutes later.
Gabriel scored his 8th goal of the season after scoring a superb goal to give Solar the lead in the 33rd minute following a swift counter attack from the goal-keeper but got pecked back again when Abu levelled scores for SID, leaving the scores at 2-2 going into the break.
Solar started the second half where they finished the first and got the lead for the third time in the evening through Duale, assisted by Alex Song.
Samuel thought he had scored when he beautiful volley found the back of the net, only for the referee to rule it out for an offside.
Solar are now six points clear off second place SID whom they beat and Gabriel of Solar replaced Akinbinu Samuel on the summit of the scorers chat.
