Nigeria’s medal hopeful in the track events of the Olympics, Divine Oduduru put up a great performance to finish third at the North Florida Invitational, Jacksonville on Friday night.
Oduduru who had qualified for the Men’s 100m final with the fastest time of 10.11s Season Best in the heat, improved his time with another Season Best of 10.05s (+1.5m/s) to finish third in the men’s 100m at the UNF Invitational. He finished behind his training partners, Trayvon Bromell in 9.88s, the fastest in the world and Andre de Grasse in an identical 10.05s.
On Thursday, he ran a scintillating time of 19.88s over 200m to win the race at the same event.
The Nigerian 200m champion keeps improving in his time after running 20.46s at the 200 metres of the Tom Jones Memorial Meet and 10.25s at 100 metres of the USATF Grand Prix some weeks ago.
