The head coach of the University of Buea football club, Asongu Nicolas has expressed dissatisfaction in his players following their cup of Cameroon playoffs defeat against Continental FC in Tiko.
University of Buea FC suffered a 3-1 defeat in the Buea derby ending their ride in the 2021 cup of Cameroon competition.
According to the Coach, their failure is as a result of his players not adhering to instructions and not attending training sessions in the build up to the game.
“I am very disappointed with them because they don’t come for training sessions. You know the training session is a replicate of a match.
Watching his side take the lead in the early minutes of the game game gave Coach Asongu thought it was another good day out when Kelvin Ayuk gave UB FC it’s lone goal in 5mins of play but Continental FA responded in style after Younyi equalized with first goal in 17 mins, and Jefter Arrey followed closely behind to score second goal for his side and Ndive Macknight comes in 15mins to the end of first half to make it 3goals for Continental.
Fair enough, the coach gave credits to Continental FA after the victory. “I think Continental deserved to win” Coach Nicolas stated.
The coach also made mention of the fact that he had limited players players to pick a team from.
