PWD social football club of Bamenda has risen from it’s slumber in their last two games.
The upsurge was recorded May 21, 2022 in their March day 14 game of the Cameroon Elite One Championship against Avion Academy of Nkam.
Their two zero win against Avion comes days after an emergency crisis meeting the Abakwa boys had with the president of the club Pascal Abunde and it’s staff.
The meeting which was solely to sort out the teams poor run of form in the Elite One Championship, came after the teams loss to Fovu of Baham three goals to one, to make it back to back defeats, the first time for the club in the past three seasons.
The four hours crisis meeting which President Pascal Abunde through his tweet said he hoped would yield fruits seems to have met it’s goal.
” …I had a four hours crisis meeting with the entire staff yesterday night and hope the adjustments yields some fruits” he said.
This game is the first victory of the boys in the second phase of the Championship.
The boys of coach Pagou have now recorded their fifth win of the campaign ( against FOVU, New Stars, YAFOOT, Dragon of Yaounde and Avion Academy of Nkam) , five draws ( with OFTA, Avion, Renaissance, Cotonsport and UMS of Loum) and four defeats( against Bamboutos, Eding Sport, Bamboutos and Fovu.)
